Why did we create actua11y?
Actua11y is dedicated to bridging the gap between disabled individuals and the world of work on their terms and to their capacity.
"Nothing for us without us."
Actua11y co-founder Dermot Devlin is disabled, disabled people are part of and will always be part of the founders, management and decision making at every level of Actua11y. This is to ensure that every step of the Actua11y journey meets the needs of the disabled community it is here to serve. Our primary service is a Digital Accessibility Assessment by actual disabled people from our community of disabled people.
An actua11y assessment not only enhances your digital assets but promotes inclusion, equity and equality. We actually believe that accessibility is a fundamental right, and we are on a mission to make that happen.
We have recruited and continue to recruit disabled people to our community, paying them £30 an hour to be accessibility assessment participants. If you'd like to join our community you can do so from the link that follows.
